While both of the book cover and logo are fictitious, they each represent a real piece of me. The book reflects one of my passions, coaching new teachers. The logo for English Teacher for Hire represents a company I once considered starting to offer editing and presentation consulting.
Both of these were created over the course of a week with technologies, GIMP and Inkscape, that I had never used before. In addition to developing the concepts, I had to learn the technologies to design the artifacts.
